Dates of 17th annual Arctic Futures Symposium Officially Announced
The dates of the 17th annual Arctic Futures Symposium are now official!
On December 1st and 2nd, this year’s Arctic Futures Symposium will take place at EFTA House in the EU Quarter of Brussels.
The symposium will focus this year on Arctic governance and the implementation of the EU’s new Joint Communication on the Arctic, focusing on its three pillars: environment, sustainable development, and preparedness and resilience.
The exact details of the programme are still being discussed amongst the partners. As the details of the programme emerge, they will be published on this website, as well as the list of speakers as they confirm.
Of course the 5th Laurence Trân Arctic Futures Award winner will be announced at the symposium and will take part in a panel discussion.
Side events are also planned for this year. We’ll also post updates on them as they start coming together.
