Arctic Youth, Demographics, and Capacity-Building: a View to the Future

Arctic regions face huge challenges regarding future demographic trends and capacity-building, due mainly to changes in youth becoming settled and feeling at home in the region. Trends of concern include outmigration, gender imbalance, “homelessness”, and urbanization. This panel will discuss how Arctic communities still can take advantage of future opportunities.
